Good restaurant. Ladies brunch outing, mid morning so quiet, we were the only ones in the dining room. I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy with a couple of over easy eggs, delicious! Everyone else ordered omelets which were huge, and devoured!
Food was great! Waitress was great with service her name was Kathleen. Not many people here on a Monday but all in all a nice little place to stop and grab some good food!
Food was good, service was horrible! One waitress served 5 tables, 11 people total, bringing one meal at a time out to customers. Waitress was rude until to the customers were finished with there meals. She suddenly became very friendly.
Food was very good, prices were good, however the service was slow. When we paid it was discovered why the slow service. Our waitress was also the bartender, & she was working all by herself in 2 sides of the building.(back & forth) She did the best she could have considering.
The food is pretty hit or miss. Sometimes it is great and sometimes not. Same with the service. I really want to support my local business but I just can not say that it is great every time I have eaten there. I keep going back, periodically hoping that it will be great but so far l can say they meet my expectations only half the time.
We waited half an hour for our food, and when we got one sooner then the other, the one that was received earlier had cold sides already. 10 minutes later, the 2nd entree was recieved warm n tasted good.
Exactly where the heck is this place??? Google and our gps shows it in the middle of the woods apparently. We followed the gps which took us on a dark, bumpy, scary dirt road with no lights, signs, or cafes. What the heck!! Is it the same or different than the Hardwood Steakhouse? UGH!!!
Great on the go sandwiches, amazing service from some friendly, pleasant ladies. A great place to stop on the drive! Thanks!!!
